What happens to conversations when I remove and/or block someone?

I don't want a certain someone viewing my profile anymore so I changed my privacy setting, blocked communications, removed them as a friend, changed my alias etc but when I removed him and/or blocked him I wasn't able to find the PMs we had been messaging eachother and I can't find any way to view them. Will he still be able to see the conversation?

So when you close the window, you would have to find the person and message them again to see the chat?

nope, chat history is not saved. it is simply gone.
