How to add The Sims 3 as a non-steam game
I've been having trouble adding a game called The Sims 3 that I brought quite a long time ago before i got steam. But now recently I wanted the expantion pack but I need to add my sims 3, which i already had to my steam library. So then I clicked on add a non-steam game and as far as I now this is where alot of people get themselves stuck.

1. when you get the window up called add a game click on browse.
2. Go to local Disc
3. Program Files (x86)
4. Electronic Arts
5. The Sims 3
6. Game
7. Bin
8. (may need to scroll down) Click on TS3 and open

After it has been added to your library go to the play store pick your expantion and you should be able to buy it!

Hope this helped!

P.S.
May not work for everyone (windows 8 recomended)
And please let me now if you need help on any other games :)

yea, one game but that is not projectable on every single game. every single developer/publisher does this decision for every single game and for what you want now, it does not.
