Wrong purchase of a gift to a friend, is it refundable?

so 30 minutes ago i purchased the wrong item, it was chivalry: deadliest warrior. i wanted to buy chivalry: medieval warfare, i gifted it to a friend who hasn't redeemed it yet. can i get it refunded to my steam wallet so i can purchase him the right one?

I purchased the wrong game When purchasing a game, I mistakenly purchased the standard version when I meant to purchase a different version with additional content (Legendary, Gold, Deluxe, Digital Deluxe, Game of the Year, GotY, Special Edition, etc.). i cannot buy the correct version for there was only enough money in my account to buy 1 item.
i created a ticket and i have had no awnser. if the gift is not redeemed, will it automatically refund?

What is your issue with contacting Steam support? If it's the captcha seemingly not working, read the text on the left side of the login box.

Steam support accounts are not the same thing as your steam account, youll need to create a steam support account 1st.

They wont be able to help him at all, not unless he follows the information in the link. That means buying the correct game 1st before contacting them.

oh well, i own that game. does that count? i have played it many hours, all i wanted to do was get my friend playing it, but if not, when he gets it he will have some dlc :) thnx guys.
