Steam/Valve Games & Ingame-Items Image License
Hi there community.
I am looking for any thread regarding the Steam & Valve Licenses for the Games themselves, and Ingame-Items.
While browsing the web i could NOT find alot of information about Legal Issues and such Licenses which would proof if a user can or can not upload images from ingame or the ingame item images such as this (http://media.steampowered.com/apps/440/icons/hw2013_allclass_horseman.b185ffdb9160003829a2a31a82ef0ecd9f4d8911.png) on their website for writing an article regarding that item, or just using the image on a general website related to Gaming.
It would be very helpful if any user could give me some help on this since i contacted Steam Support but unfortunatly they haven't answer yet, and thats the third week.

Thank you for your support,
Merry Christmas,
Vasil7112

You can take screenshots of games through Steam so I would imagine Valve would be cool with it.

Its a logical explanation, but what about the items? Such as the .png link i sent above? It is an element of the game, but can i use it standalone? Or do i require a specific license?

just do it, Valve never sued anyone using their stuff, not even when you monetize it.
