Is Advanced Warfare worth buying?

I just wanted to know if advanced warfare is worth it because all the reviews say that its crap and that there are hackers everywhere. So i thought about getting Bo2 but i really do want to play advanced warfare. Actually i'm willing to buy both if they are worth my money. I look forward to your responses.

I've not played the game so I can't really comment but, asking a question like this about a CoD game will bring all the immatures out telling you not to buy it just because it's CoD.

Still, I've not played CoD for a long long time and I don't believe they've ever listened to the community about dedicated servers. I don't know what cheat protection they use but their never that great anyway (or they are but there's so many hackers it doesn't matter anyway).

The last CoD game I enjoyed was united offensive, the expansion to the first (second?) originals back in 1999 (I think, I CBA to look i t up) but my opinion won't be the same as yours, nor will anyone else's here so the only thing you can do is find a demo, trial or whatever or bite the bullet and just buy it - or, spend longer doing some research but I doubt you'd find any serious answer here sorry to say.

In terms of gameplay I hear it is the most fresh COD in years. I haven't played it myself due to playing somewhere around 8 of the games over the years. So I am not sure about hackers. But they tend to be in all competitive online games. The extent may be worse here though, I can't be sure.

Dont, its not worth it, its a really bad game, think of Black ops but being bale to double-jump, now is that rreally worth £30-40?

pc version waste of time in my opinion 5 disk install then steam downloads over 40 gig of updates taking 10 hours and i still cant get it to run and my pc is up to spec.

I played the multiplayer during the free weekend. It's a competent game but I wouldn't spend $60 on it or even $20.

no multiplayer shooter without dedicated server you can host yourself is worth buying.

i picked it up on sale for $40 ish, i like fps games but haven't played any of the other CoDs recently and from what my friends say the game play for single player is decent, when i get the time ill DL it and post some info of what i personally think of it

im downloading the game now, it says it will only take 4 hours not that bad also gameplay seems pretty smooth
