I already own a game,what if i buy it again with all dlc?
The dlcs alone for fallout new vegas (11$) are more expensive than the fallout new vegas ultimate edition which includes all dlc (5$). What happens if i bought the ultimate edition over my classic edition ?

Will it even work?

yes that will work, but you wont receive a 2nd copy of the main game.

Basically, when you purchase a bundle with several items (NOT things like 4 packs; these work differently), Steam will give you the items that you don't already have, and discard the others.

You will NOT get gifts, you will NOT pay less, you will NOT even get another set of trading cards (although that's something they could really do at least -- it's not like it would kill their business).

EDIT: I actually wonder how the monetary side of this works. The assumption is that the discarded items are not real sales since the publisher probably never delivers a license for that item -- so does Steam just keep 100% of that items price?

Yeah man i thought of that...the offer says base game + dlc..so i am legitimitly buying another copy that at least i should be able gift away u know...

There is always these things in the monetary system :/
