Steam Gift is pending?

My girlfriend bought me Far Cry 2 from her account, as I dont have enough money on my paypal. She did it like half an hour ago, and I am still waiting for the game. How much does it usually take for steam gifts to arrive ? It says for her, that the game is pending :)

The fit won't be sent until the purchase is through.
If she used PSC to buy it, tough luck. PSC kinda sucks in terms of speed.

Once it shows as successful here:https://store.steampowered.com/account/ she should be able to send it to you and you redeem it.

That I know, but how much time does it take to show as successful. This is our first time buying games and we are scared that this is fraud :) It has been over hour since I have been waiting :)

Usually it is instant. Other times it could be a couple hours to a day.

It may just be them scrutinizing the purchase to make sure it is not someone commiting fraud. As people create new accounts and they buy gifts with stolen cards, so Steam often spends a little extra time on gift purchases for accounts without paid games so the priblem shouldn;t happen again.

I would suggest to contact paypal also to see if the payment has any current issues, because I know that paypal can have a way with certain countries, that way you can get a clear answer to this problem, also has steam support replied yet?
