Dragon Age 2 missing from my Library.
Was going to do a quick play through of the DA games to get ready for Inquisition but lo and behold, not only is DA2 still missing from the store, but now it is also missing from my library! I paid full price for the game on launch day, am I now forced to repurchase the game on Origin after already payin $50 for it on steam?!

I'd contact support to get the reason why it was removed. Normally it only happens when there were problems with the payment or the key was deemed stolen by the publisher. The latter should not apply as the game cannot be activated on Steam.

da2 was removed from steam entirely some years ago, due to EA was not happy with the way Steam handles DLC monetizing at the time

i dont know how EA handled existing steam customers back then. you might try contacting them/origin.

https://steamdb.info/app/99809/history/ the game is essentially not on steam anymore for a year.

Games that are removed from the store are not removed from your library

If you bougth it on STeam its still in your library no matter what\

You're likely logging into the wrong account

@ wuddih - I know about that, but up until about a month ago it was still listed in my library.

@ Iceira - I would LOVE that option, anyone know if it is possible? I can't even look at my purchase to do that.

@Satoru - I've only ever had the one steam account and it was there until recently.

check your steam account details for the dragon age 2 purchase, if you find that, contact steam support with it to request a key that you can activate on origin. a friend claimed the game is gone from his library longer then a month but when it was still there he had the ability to view the cd key.
If you are certain you are logged in to the correct account, go to this site and find the corresponding number to insert in to the following line you will need to type in to your Internet browsers address bar:

https://steamdb.info/search/?a=app&q=dragon+age+II&type=-1&category=0

Only one of those numbers will work, depending on which version you purchased.

EDIT ----------------------------------

steam://install/<id>
Installs an application.

Example: steam://install/8230 installs Sam & Max: Episode 4

--------------------------------------------

Enter

steam://install/99809

or

steam://install/47900

in to your Internet Browser and press enter, one of those *SHOULD* start the install.
