High ping only in competitive matches (CS:GO)

Hello everyone, I've got a very annoying problem. It happend few weeks ago, my normal ping is around 40 but now during competitive matches (only) it goes up to ~150. When i play DM however, ping goes back to norm (around 40). I reinstalled windows and the game but ping still gets higher in competitive matches. I really need help, thanks.

on normal it chooses some public close to you, on competitive it chooses the best server for the majority of the players. seems like not many people in your region play ranked.

Yeah but I play together with my brother, using the same internet connection, being in the same server and still his ping is around 40 and mine is 150

Ping from 1 to 450 tolerable. Latency is not so high that it seemed to you that the picture freezes. But there is such a thing as FPS, here matters worse, if the FPS drops below 24 units, then your eyes will begin to distinguish the game as seizing the film, that is, will be visible modal.

FPS is not the problem either, I've got ~200 FPS while playing

150 is abysmal for even a slightly ambitioned player. needless to say you will lose any reaction-based duel against similar skilled players.

same internet connection as you are playing from the same network/house? then check internal network, does he play from wired and you from wlan and stuff like that.

yup we play from the same network, both via WIFI

well if it works on normal servers and your checked that your hardware is ok you might check habits like "i close the door while playing ranked". wifi is a ♥♥♥♥♥ sometimes. 200 students wonder why everyday on 9:20 the wifi breaks ... just to find out the cleaning lady puts her utilcart in front of the the ap. 200 intelligent people needed 3 weeks to pinpoint that ♥♥♥♥.

i go wired everytime it is possible

we're the only one to use this network and the router is in my room, which means I'm even closer to it than him. When i use wire nothing changes. I'm trying to reinstall all the drivers that may have influence on connection, because I don't really see any other option right now.
