Diskeeper & 4TB drives
I have Diskeeper 2009 professional and its always worked with no problems what so ever.

It doesn't seem to auto defrag my 4TB drive, I have had the drive for about a month and now it is 3/4 full and I noticed it was getting slow so I checked the fragmentation in Diskeeper to find out this

IS this because the 2009 version doesn't support drives larger than a certain amount?

for compatibility of the program you should ask the dev of the program, i don't believe many people use this.

advice: let windows manage that automatically, defrag tools like that will stress your drives in the long run. performance increase is not very much anyway.

perhaps that diskeeper 2009 cannot handle larger than 2tb hdd. this is my guess.

if you want free alternative, try defraggler from piriform

So does Widows 7 (my OS) do defrag automatically int he background, or when idle? Defragging this will take many hours I would imagine.
