Review button disappearing when clicking. Any suggestions why?
Hope this is the correct place to ask.

So, I never had problems posting my reviews on Steam, regardless of their length (up to the character limit allocated). But lately, when I wanted to post a review for Dawn of War II, I click the "Post" button and nothing happens except for the button disappearing afterwards. The review doesn't get posted.

I copy-pasted the same text which I wrote on a different game for testing purposes and the same thing happens. I posted longer reviews than this one before, with one not long ago, with no issues though. And no, I'm not over the character limit. And yes, when I cut it down to like two VERY short paragraphs it gets posted, oddly enough.

Does anyone have any idea why this happens? I can't think of anything other than maybe using some words in the text which Steam doesn't allow, if that even exists? I have no idea.

Tested it both on the Steam client and Chrome. Same result.

Use another like Firefox, IE xD

Honestly, I don't see why using a different browser would do the trick. It should've just worked on the Steam client straight away.

But anyhow, I tested the other two just to be sure and I get the same result, again.

Still no result. I've been trying to find a solution for this for days now.

Also, what's Steam's CURRENT word/character limit for reviews, guys?

currently all long stuff is bugged.

got the same problem, it's realated to the lenght of the review, but officially the is no characters limit...

Thanks for confirming this is some sort of bug, guys. It was driving me insane thinking it was just me having this issue.

I had this issue before, but never this long as I have now. I'm trying to edit 2 reviews for 4-5 days now, I try every day, but the button still disappears. This is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ annoying ¬¬

Woot managed to edit them from the Steam client instead of the Firefox & Chrome I was trying before.
