Cant download Dirty Bomb

When I try to download the game,Steam says "Checking for Updates" then it changes to "Scanning for steam game updates" then... Nothing. The store page just resets and nothing happens.
What should I do?

Also I posted here since im pretty sure its not the game's fault,its Steam doing something wrong.

Are your countries supported by the way? This game seems to have a region lock on,just asking.

It's region locked; can't be played in Japan.

Did u purchase this outside of Steam, or on Steam but outside of Japan, perhaps while traveling?

If purchased outside of Steam, the place of purchase might not have listed the supported countries; or if Steam Store purchase outside of Japan, it should work if u were to leave.

japan is included in the regions that should be able to play it.

@ OP:
press win+r and enter this "steam://run/333930" or "steam://install/333930" without the quotes and try both commands. if that doesn't work then there is some problem with your steam installation.

??? Last time I checked its not region locked in Japan. Pretty sure it would be stupid to region lock a non-locked country.

I just tried both command both bommands,and no luck.
It just jumps me to the store page.
Also i tried downloading something else (Blacklight Retribution) and nothing happened. No message box,no page refreshes,it just went to download the game.

seems like the client doesn't recognize the games as free.

try restarting everything.
steam, then pc, then network equipment and test it everytime in between the steps.

this is to exclude dns caching errors in your equipment and should not produce any additional problems.

IDK then, it's your Steam / Game Files then.
When I looked outside of Steam about this game, they list all these countries it is playable, and Japan wasn't listed. Apparently it is one of those games where listed "where can be played" is shorter list.

But if you purchased from Steam Store, then I don't see the issue here.
But then again some games do have such issues; The Old Blood for example was completely non-working for AUS and ♥♥♥ for quite some time.
