THE WITCHER 3 CRASHES AFTER I START IT!

So I recently installed The Witcher 3 but then after I start it up a vlack screen comes for like a half a second and then it closes. I don't know if its my PC settings or requirements but here they are:



Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3210M CPU @ 2.50GHz
Video Card Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000
Memory 6.1 GB
Operating System Microsoft Windows 8 (build 9200), 64-bit

black screen -> close is an generic error, that can happen because of everything. once it is a old gpu driver, or because the cat is sitting on your vents or your mouse cable is broken ... doesn't matter.

even if you can watch those people getting it to run, they don't play it. your system is overall very weak and it was a bit naive to think you can play the game and enjoying it.

try reinstalling gpu driver or updating them.

you might be able to run the game, playing the game is another thing. do you really want to play a $60 pixelart slideshow?

You're better off searching and if needed starting a new post in the game's forum rather than tagging onto this thread aboutr an underpowered laptop.
