Report a translation problem
Steam groups cannot be deleted manually, nor can Steam groups be deleted upon request via Steam support. Like you said above, you would need to first remove it's current members and then leave yourself for it to be vacant. Groups are then later removed automatically after a period of inactivity after all users leave. This was set forth to avoid problems with accidental deletion by group owners.
and click leave.
You can search for the group after to see if its still around, once its empty it should have a timer on it.
