Can auto-clickers get you vac banned?

With the rise of games like clicker heroes I see people talking about using auto clicker programs. I'm not using it for fear of it registering as a cheat on my machine. Anyone have any hard facts as to if they are considered cheats by steam?

Clicker Heroes is a singleplayer game, you are not competing against others in MP so I don't see how auto clicker is an advantage, unless you were playing against others.

You can use auto clicker on Clicker Heroes but I don't see how that will make the game fun because the point of it is to click and go through the levels unless you want to speedrun.

2. VAC only works in multiplayer.
3. Clicker Heroes is not VAC protected

The developer does not even care if you edit your savegame to get tons of rubies. You would be a horrible person if you do that though.

No, I'm not gonna do anything like that. That's pretty udnerhanded if you ask me. To be hones I'm enjoying the game, so i bought one of the ruby packs in game to support the developer.

You were VAC banned from a different game. VAC system is used on Multiplayer servers, and Clicker Heroes doesn't have multiplayer servers so you can't even get VAC banned from this game.

Just by looking at your profile I can see that you hacked your achievements

which is not a problem and wont get you VAC banned unless you let the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ program running while connecting to a VAC protected gameserver.

you can even hack achievements in VAC games, it does not matter as long as you are not connected to a VAC protected gameserver
