and dont blame mumble, mumble is a fine voice program I actually made some commits to the code in the past, it is open source and there are no known 0-day exploits that might allow access over the program and using the client side of the program will not allow any access to your computer, the server part has a webadministration I believe but the server wont run until you explicitly configure and run it manually.
blame yourself for not downloading software from the official website. and I miss one certain statement from you: "I changed my email passwords aswell because if the hacker has access to my email account, he has access to my steam account"
