PC][2009-2014] Medieval-fantasy game

Help me identify this medieval-fantasy game!

I’m trying to remember the name of an old 3D medieval-fantasy game. Here’s what I recall:
• You start with a single character, but as you progress, you meet NPCs who join your party. These companions can also be used as playable characters.
• It’s a third-person game, but not with a top-down camera—more like a camera style similar to GTA.
• I remember a quest where you had to fight in a cave full of rats. You could also fight other enemies like wolves, bears, and soldiers.
• The game was released sometime between 2008 and 2014.

Difficult to say as it sounds like at least 50% of all fantasy ARPGs.

Could be something like Dungeon Siege, or Neverwinter Nights or something along those lines.

Plus, most fantasy RPGs have a starting level or early level with rats in a dungeon. Even the Bard's Tale made a joke of it.

If it were a bit earlier than this, I'd suggest the Snowblind studios versions of Baldur's Gate but they weren't on modern PCs at this time.

That age time is too broad sadly. There are hundred of diablo like clones too among that time era.

Yeah that's the problem. I'm having a hard time thinking of this one as there's way too many to remember.
