Is - legit?
I'd like to vote for a Rust server. But the website toprustservers.com wants me to log in through Steam on a page that opened from their website. The login page looks good, but seems strange to me that I need to log in, considering I automatically log into Steam when I turn my computer on.
Any advice or experiences? Is there an official Steam voting system?

Well dose it ask you to put user name and password? or just to click yes?

Also did you login from the browser to Steam (not relayed to the site.. as in if you go by your self)

(like if you click here: http://lmgtfy.com/?q=http%3A%2F%2Fstore.steampowered.com%2F&l=1 )
^ like to Let me google it for you.. so it will take you outside of the Clinet before you login XD

That's some pretty impressive stuff ther Black Blade. Did not know there was a "let me google that for you" website (or is that a phishing site?)
Firstly, yes, it DID ask for my username & password (first alarm bell)
Secondly, no, I did not log in at all. I googled this particular Rust server & a hit came back on rustservers.com. I investigated & found the Rust server admin had voted for his own server. I'd also like to vote, but I did not because when I clicked on the "vote here" button, it oopened what looked like a Steam login (second alarm bell). I have previously voted for a Minecraft server, which I did not have to log in to vote, just pass the capcha test (third alarm bell). I am starting to think this is a phishing website. So the main question now is: is there a place I can go to vote for Rust servers?

You will only get asked for username and password if you have not logged onto steam on that browser. If you are logged into steam, it will detect your account and ask if it is you.

Look at the URL, it redirects you to Steam for the login and you are not logging in on their website.

https://steamcommunity.com/openid/login?openid.ns=.....

Never used that site myself so don't know if this is what you mean or not.

Marvellous! Thank you very very much for your help & effort Black Blade. Much appreciated!

Point of note: my computer automatically logs me into Steam as soon as I turn it on.

Actually, originally the title of this thread was "Is toprustservers.com legit?", but somewhere along the line, someone removed "toprustservers.com" from it. I'm guessing it breached some forum rule. No matter, you gave me an answer anyway. Thanks!

Lastly, @Slay__ have you voted for a Rust server before? If so, what site do you use?
