THANK YOU!
I may be late to the party, but here my scenario; I updated my computer using the free Windows 10 update, and everything was kinda good, nothing to really complain on, but then there was a big update for Windows 10, and suddenly my microphone stopped working in TeamSpeak and in Discord, but it still worked in Skype. Nothing was fixing the problem, so I just didn't really play as much as before it stopped working. Because who really want to use skype?
So I started reading a bit on forums and eventually got to this one, didn't really think it was going to help, but I gave it a shot.
But the stages for me was;
Go control panel.
Then Hardware and sound.
Then Sound.
Then Recording.
The Properties.
Then Enhancements.
Then check the box "Disable all sound effects".
Then "OK".
And it started working immediately.
Thanks a bunch again, I really appreciate it.
Thanks.
mine works fine o.o
The mic I'm using is the default mic of my laptop (built in)
Post the exact model and model number of that laptop. Identify the computer here, please, or post a link to it that shows the exact model.
After doing that system restore, did you then reinstall all updates for the OS and drivers ? As that would have put your computer back a bit from the most recent updating, possibly, depending on what and when you installed updates. Thanks.
Additional signal processing is the culprit. Hope it helps.

I tried this and it did not work, BUT what did work is the following.
Assuming you have MS Windows 64bit
1. Uninstall clownfish.
2. Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\ClownfishVoiceChanger
3. Delete it's contents.
4. If you can't delete ClownfshAPO64.dll, rename it to ClownfshAPO64.dll.old
5. Reinstall Clownfish.
6. Open Clownfish setup and remove the mic you usually use and then click install, to reinstall it.
7. Test - This worked for me.
