Is the router near the washing machine? Try moving it somewhere else.

no its not near it but the washing machine is at center and sadly my mom's room is the only working place it can go i think or thats what the guy that installed it said atleast :(

It wouldn't hurt.

is it a common problem for wireless?

I have never heard of a washing machine interfering with a router, but other electronics can.

Actually, are you certain this is a wifi issue?

It's unusual for a washing machine motor to cause a problem with wifi, but it can certainly cause broadband problems if the machine is close to telephone circuitry. In which case, it would affect wired connections as well.
it is not unusual. washing machines have electrical heatpipes, the motor might have coils. any form of metal under electricty can create an electromagnetic wall and that can interfere with pretty much anything.

if you wanna brake it down hardcore, call the washing machine company for an exact description of one of the washing programs. they usually have a minute chart when what specific part is de/activated and then you can record your wifi signal and make a comparsion.

but since you already have located the problem. a wifi repeater/extender might solve the problem to circumvent the direct path through the washing machine, at the cost of a little ping increase or switching the wifi channel might also be enough(if you are on channel 1, switch to 11, vice versa)
