Authorized Resellers

I was browsing around and came across {HIVATKOZÁS TÖRÖLVE} and it has 10 random steam keys for 2.70. For 2.70 it seems worth a try. Upon futher inquiry it seems there could be some legitamacy questions , but i cannot find an official list of authorized resellers. Could this jeapardize my precious steam account?

Not necessarily. That's just what Valve thinks.

When the big "Sniper Elite III" key issue sparked up, they posted a list of sites they sell keys to and are legitimate places to buy their game...... Items on that list were censored by Valve.

So there will be times when publishers willingly and clearly sell legitimate keys to a site that Valve deems to be non trustworthy.

there are no official resellers, because there are no official resellers.

if you release a game on steam, you are free to sell your game anywhere else, they even give you the steam keys for free. so the dev decides who is an authorized reseller.

that 3 char company is just known for an large amount of negative things that happened with it, that is becuase it is censored here. also they have a friend referral system, so have some other companies too. they might not be censored because of scam, but they might be censored them to deal with the referral begging spam that such systems produce.

Hi, everyone thanks for your replies! I dont want to get into censorship or monopolies,, but what I've gathered is (so looking at it backwards) "authorized resellers" actually pertains to the publishers and whom ever they sold their product to (steam store,anyother store). but on the steam service is where you activate,play etc. For some. So i should be safe, as long as i stay safe away from scammers. It dont matter where it came from, aslong as its legit. doh

They're censored for a reason. Its because they're an unauthorized reseller that enables fraud but turns a blind eye to it because only their 'independent sellers' do that. Aka they actively do not care about fraud and encourage it because they profit from it.

Also note that site asks you to SCAN YOUR PASSPORT before they will allow you to buy things.

You'll note that legit resellers do not need you to buy 'insurance' in case your key doesnt work at which point they REMOTE INTO YOUR COMPUTER to verify things. Feel free to explain how any of that is even remotely legitimate.

The bundle star customer service are terrible and in my opinion it's the most important, if they cant't resolve key problem's you waisting money and time for nothing.
I will never buy bundle's or key's from them again.
