Steam Store is a website, one website cannot save data for another website, that is impossible. If it is possible then only through a security hole.
Steam just started AFAIK - I did a Paypal purchase today without the Paypal window opening at all (I have deleted this from my account, though - I prefer entering the Paypal password every time).
PayPal and eBay do that, but they're very closely partnered. Wuddih is right, it's not dangerous.
But now I have the same issue as OP and eventually deleted Paypal as described in post #1 since I found no way to see and change what info was stored. But even after doing that, I am unable to restart using Paypal and still get that error message when trying.
I recently moved so I guess outdated address data could be an issue when using "My Paypal Account" but I don't see how it could be an issue when using the direct Paypal option since Paypal has had my correct address for months and I am able to use Paypal w/o hiccups on other sites.
THANK YOU.
