Will a disc copy of Fallout 4 impact my modding experience as opposed to a digital copy?
So I've rarely bought games on Steam before (just haven't felt a need to), but I want to get Fallout 4 on PC, mainly for mods, and I'm looking at buying through Amazon. I also want to get the Fallout Anthology there too, and there's supposed to be an extra space in the Anthology container for a copy of Fallout 4. Despite what people say about the convenience of a digital copy, I love the feeling of physically owning a game. Like it's your own thing, ya know? (Forgive me for being old-fashioned)
However from what I've read it seems a physical (therefore non-Steam) copy of Fallout 4 won't have access to Steam Workshop later on, unless I can somehow find a loophole to access Steam mods or can buy the digital and physical copy side-by-side for $120 (which isn't practical for me).
In other words (TL;DR), I value physical copies, but I also want to maximize my modding experience.
Is there any way to access Steam mods even with a physical copy of Fallout 4? Is there the possibility (or a sure way) of somehow getting a free Steam key for the game alongside my disc? If the answer to those last two questions is no, do you think Steam mods alone would be good enough to make buying digital worthwhile (and leave an empty space in the Anthology container)? What are your thoughts, guys?

No, it will not. You can throw a bird with the disc once you've activated the game on Steam.

EDIT: Ah, but right - Fallout 4 might not have Steamworks unlike the predecessors due to the whole bethesda.net.

it comes with a DVD and you authenticate on Steam. So you could just enter the Steam code and download it and not use DVD
