My internet isn't the best, but it's 10M, I used to download games between 700kbs to 1M/s. But since you said it might be my internet I checked my download settings on the Steam library to verify my download region. It was set to Beijing (1400Kms away), so I changed it to Shanghai (230kms away) and restarted Steam... It started downloading normally at 1024kbps, i had hopes, but it just stopped again :(
Where is this supposed to be displayed? I don't have it, it seems.
I can confirm I don't have it then
It's been very frustrating as I have asked for help from anyone in the steam community but to no avail. Seems like it doesn't bother anyone else so they don't offer any kind of tips or help (with the exception of a few). The only way I can download the games is to hit the arrow to download now, forcing the game to d/l. But who wants to baby the queue? It's annoying.
Here's one of the many existing threads on this problem.
Someday i'll have this problem, someday it will just download flawlessly
I can safely say I no longer have this problem. After upgrading to Windows 10, updated my LAN drivers, and modifying some parts of my antivirus software, the downloads rarely pauses (or turn yellow) for me now. It is possible that the scanning part of the av or the firewall is the issue. Hope you are able to see improvements soon.
