Someone spent 100 euros on my account!
I had a 100 euros saved up in my wallet and was planning on spending it, I woke up today and saw that all my money was spent on a single CSGO gun for 100 euros without my knowledge? how could this have happened? Did someone hack into my account? It cant be because I have steam guard on. I also didnt click on any links or or anything steam related that could have gotten my account hijacked or whatever. I just feel so lost and depressed now can anybody tell me what could have caused this

sorry this happened, partner.

make sure to do all of these

DO NOT TRADE
many scams try and scare you into trading your items and they get hijacked

1. Scan for malware https://www.malwarebytes.com/

2. Deauthorize all other devices https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage

3. Change passwords from a trusted/clean computer.

4. Generate new backup codes for your Mobile App https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage

5. Revoke the API key https://steamcommunity.com/dev/apikey (there should be nothing in the APIKEY)

wallet wipe is normally nearly instant as it is entirely automated.

you receive an email for the community market purchase.
that will tell you the exact time ... as it probably was not over night ... but very most likely, the moment you logged in on a fake Steam website, all with guard code and stuff, which should be the reason for this to happen.

Ask whatever scam website you gave all your login info to.

Make sure your mail account isn't compromised as well. The perpetrator may have deleted those mails to cover their tracks.

I thought about it too, but for them to be able to log in into my mail they would need my phone cause of security

"For a long while" so you have in the past then. Those websites will often wait until an account has something they want before taking it.

What do you mean by this? Have you used these 3rd party sites previous? Scammers can idle sit on accounts for months on end and only strike when the payoff is best.

Not from what I recall, I am pretty safe when it comes to 3rd party stuff, meaning i just dont do anything with them, only places I used my steam info is the steam app on my pc and steam app on my phone

Did you vote for someone's team by any chance?

Oh and note, hijackings are delayed - sometimes by months - so, if you've EVER signed into ANY third-party trade or gambling site you placed your account at risk. Also, these sites use dummy Steam login pages to fool the user into handing over all their info.

Also check from where your account was being accesses from:

https://help.steampowered.com/en/accountdata/SteamLoginHistory

And open a Support Ticket, Steam SUpport might help localizing the hijacker..:

Here is more account related data to find:

The account might already be hijacked from a long time ago.
Unfortunately there is nothing you can do to retrieve your money. Please take the steps mentioned above to secure your account.

I appreciate the comment, but the problem is, I already have my steam guard connected
