I can't sell CSGO items
So I got all Counter Strike games from a friend when it was december 2014. I want to sell CSGO items I got but I can't sell it because it says that I need to have a purchase that's between 30 days and 1 year old. What do I have to do?

EDIT 1: I also can't do this with other items from games that I bought.

@Converse - The answer is within the message you've received; You'll need to purchase something through Steam to gain access to the Market. Receiving gifted games do not count.

Why did they do what? They never changed anything, it is like that since the beginning of the market.
