On the 18th of this month i requested a refund for amount of money (70$) but till now i didst get the refund. And to make sure i checked my visa balance and no money was received and where i requested the refund it tells my money refunded. so what may be the problem? Is there a way to contact steam to fast the procedure or find the problem.

You said you requested the refund. Did you get an email that the refund was granted?
Asmar Aug 30, 2015 @ 7:01am
Yes they sent me an email the next day approving the refund (Your purchase has been refunded by steam..)

Edit: they told me it may take up to 14 days to receive the refund but till now nth. I looked at the forums and i read people saying the received the money 3-4days after they requested.

Well as far as i know, refund to credit card can take quite a while. If they told you up to 14 days you have to consider they only count work days (weekends not included).
So if you count those days out and you received the positive refund mail on the 19th, that are only 7 work days till now. So maybe give them a few more days?

I'm in the same boat. I requested a refund on a game, and was approved that night. This was on Sept 27, and after nearly 3 weeks I've still not received credit for it. Think I'll be a bit more careful on what I buy from now on.

Don't Steam refunds go back into your Steam Wallet?

there is an option to return to your card if you just bought it outright with credit not wallet funds, if you used wallet funds the only option is to return it to wallet

Ahh okay, thanks.

Contacting Steam Support seems to be the only option I can forsee.

Hmm this says otherwise it's directly from

Request does not mean you will get one. If it fall out side the two weeks and two hours, then it is at Valve's discretion. Only with in the two weeks and two hours are you guanteed a refund.

Well if your PC didn't meet the requirements then you wouldn't be able to play it for more than 2 hours.

Not to mention you've played it for 3.5 hours so that's well over the "maybe you played the title for an hour and just didn't like it" reason.

Where is my refund? My refund was approved, but it’s been more than 7 days.

Approved refunds can take up to 7 days to appear in your account – however, refunds to international payment methods may take longer. If your refund hasn’t appeared after 7 days, please contact your bank directly and ask about pending refunds on your account.

Please note: When a refund request is approved within 24 hours of the purchase, the original transaction is cancelled and the charge drops off your bank statement. In this case, you will not see a credit on your account. This process can take up to 10 days – wait time for international payment methods may vary.

Still can’t find your refund? Please review your recent purchase history; you may have used the funds to make another purchase!
