Dota 2 OpenGL Blackscreen BUT there is cursor and sound
Good Day!

I used to play in DirectX 11. My card GeForce GTX650.
I downloaded the openGL support for Windows and typed "-gl" on the lauch options.
Then I launched Dota 2 but it's giving me blackscreen with cursor and sound.
Every buttons seems to work fine as I can click and hear it clicked but can't see anything.
I already tried setting different resolutions in launch options (-w xxxx -h xxxx) but it doesn't work... I think this is not a resolution issue.

Anyone know how to fix this? TY

remove the command, replace with -autoconfig and start the game, restart game again WITHOUT it in launch options. Don't bother with OpenGL, the game was designed and works better with DX.

Thank you for your reply but I know how to do that... I know how to play in DX... I just wanna run it in openGL... coz it might add fps... squeezing my card a little bit

It will not, I know from experience.

You use the command I showed you, just as you did with the one you used to screw your display up.

@Silicon Ok thankyou... i get your point. I'm apparently playing in DX

Any other user who can suggest how to run this in openGL is free to post...
