PayPal China Removed???

Is it just me or is it that Steam remove PayPal option from payment methods in China??
Why is this so?! Com'on Steam! coming here for work and now having to deal with this.!
I am not comfortable to use my credit card info anywhere else but PayPal!

easy reason. your credit card number just saved at one place behind an account login acting as a protection for it.

you might forgot that the cc number is the only thing you need in order to use it

so dont be a linustechtips linus and leave your credit card laying around while shooting a video.

But that's illogical. Paypal already has an 'auto passthrough' on Steam. You don't have to authenticate at all to use it as far as I understand. Its why Steam requires cookies so you can use Paypal. That seems way LESS secure

You need the CCV number to use a stored cc. Plus you stil have to actually log into steam, and use your steam authenticator code as well if you have it linked.

And again if the OP is already using a credit card anyway, then the removal of Paypal doesn't impact them. Just use the credit card directly instead of through Paypal. ITs functionally 100% identical anyway.

yeah that is a hell of task just to add money! I hope they add paypal back

and as i said, I PREFR TO ONLY USE MY CARD IN ONE PLACE! with all them hackings, it is a little more safer this way
