change phone number

how do I change my phone number when I no longer have the phone number that is there.

Steam>Settings and then click on account details on the right top corner, i think that's it

thx for the replay; I have tried but I dont have access to that phone or number any more and it want to send a sms to that number to change it.

manage your number -> change number -> remove with steam guard code .. so difficult?

Yeah it is difficult. There is no Option to remove with steam guard code. I tried using the steam guard code from authenticator that was sent to my email as a SMS code and get bad SMS code of course. You would think this was Fort Knox.

Lost my old phone and steam procedures request an sms sent to my old number.
I really pray for Zeus to send me a letter with "ZX34R1S".
