my steelseries Nimbus controller for Mac is not recognised by steam

Hi, put this is the Mac discussion too. I have a Steelseries Nimbus controller which successfully paired to my MacBook, but my game (which looks awesome btw) is not seeing it. How do I get Steam to recognise this controller?

Im having the same issue. It seems as if the HID driver for it isn't yet compatible. Can we get some support on this?

why should Steam recognize it? Steam does not handle controller management, your OS does, and to be able to use the controller in a game Steam also does nothing, the game does.

if it is for controlling big picture mode ... xinput controller? no? then it will not work.

I've tried Lego Batman 3 and it didn't work. I think _some_ Mac App Store games work, but I'm hoping that Steam adds support. (I bought the Steam Controller, and as I recall it didn't work great either, on the Mac. I had hoped it was a Bluetooth controller, but it came with its own dongle.)

with MFi controllers meaning that the Nimbus is primarily designed for iOS devices.

While the controller may hook up to your computer, there may be support issues in relation to playing certain Steam games.

Hi, im with similar problem, i could put Nimbus to work at big screen and also at games, but i could not change setup butons on that, someone know how to set up this ?
