Fallout 3 - Windows Live asking for product key

I just bought the Fallout 3 bundle through Steam. When I open the game, 'Games for Windows Live' opens as well and asks for the product key. Howevery, having bought the bundle trough Steam, I do not believe I was sent a product key.

Anybody hot any advice on how to get the game running?

Check the right hand side of the game's library page for a link labelled 'CD key' - it will be in there if it needs one. Otherwise, try asking in the game's own forum for advice.

2) OPTIONAL: "Games for Windows Live" may cause problems.
Let's disable it with a program specially for Fallout 3.
Manually download this.[www.nexusmods.com]
Extract (unzip) the download.
Start the G4WL disabler by double clicking it
Click the "Disable G4WL" button and exit.
If you have old GWFL save games, recover by moving them from C:\users\yourname\Documents\My Games\Fallout\yourGFWLname\Saves
to C:\users\yourname\Documents\My Games\Fallout\Saves
(FOSE also disables it)

I have this disabler and use it myself. Very useful when modding the game. It may work without having to use mods but I cannot remember off the top of my head. Good luck.
