Don't fall for this scam
Hello.
Sadly i've been scamed 2 days ago and i'm here to try to prevent you from falling for it.

I was on youtube watching CS GO Videos as usual. I see a Device ( Pro player ) live stream !
And once i get on this, i see a link for a giveaway. The livestream was looking serious, 20k people watching, all good. The link drives me on a website looks cleans as well ( hoo poor of me i was not focused on my pc at this moment, i sure regret it )
And there's the point that should've triggered my attention
.
You had to long through your steam account.

And then i get contacted by an account that was named " Device manager "

One more time this was looking serious.

The guys explains me that i've won and that i have to transfer my items to another account ( even of my account ) because your CS GO inventory must be under 25$ to be eligible.
So i'm tranfsering it to a friend of me ( yeah i know this friend could keep the items and block me but meh i know him and i was not afraid about it)

First time the exchange got instantanly cancelled, doesn't not bug me, was thinking this is a bug because you know it needs the confirmation from the mobile app and all of that.

then the exchange get accepted.

My friend didn't receive anything.

I lost everything.

The manipulation is that it creates an account with the same name and profile image and it accepts the exchange, I found this profile back and it only has a few items. Mines.

Rip to my like almost 170 € Loadout i wont ever see again.

At least please steam stop this scam, i don't want anymore people to fall for it.

Can give more information if you need so.

you fell for a known common stupid phishing scam.
no pro player does item giveaways, they are literally not allowed to.

also
Your Steam account is still compromised.
Please do the following steps in order:
  1. Scan for malware (with whatever)
  2. Deauthorize all other devices
  3. Generate new backup codes
  4. Change your Steam account password, preferably from a known safe device.
  5. Revoke API key

This is where you should've stopped. Also, Device doesn't have any youtube channel (Just tried to google it, it only shows other people streaming HIM)

So whatever channel you were on, the entire channel is basicly there to scam people.

Your account security is your own responsibility. Steam can't do anything about youtube and giveaways with fake sites to phish your login information.

if it was on youtube, you have to report it to youtube so they can deal with it. steam has no say over what is on youtube.
