Did you try another working mouse, or test your present mouse on another computer?
Sorry, can't think of anything else at the moment.
ps.
Laptop is know for to many things ongoing and you can taste the missing performance as things like that feel like a game lag cause the issue, don't forget i learn this on a older laptop, then its was caculating a cancer workunit.
I could even trigger a No internet connection with steam doing boot, because, my pc was so busy thats it fail establising connection in time to steam.( atleast i know what cause this. )
ps.
And all this is your own fault for lack of information, about what laptop and what are you trying to play.
Whenever I have my Xbox One controller plugged it will often make the cursor jump. It depends though but I've not managed to track down why.
So if you do have a controller or other device plugged in, try taking it out until it stops.
You can buy a cheap wired mouse at CVS or Walmart if you live near one. They sell them there for less than 5 dollars each.
Ok. That is a software issue. Go to the makers of the mouse website, and ask them if there is a firmware update for it, or ask them for help. They maybe able to help you with your issue.
