Remove "zombie" game permanently form library
I'd like to remove AppId 854040 permanently from my account but on the steam support site there is no entry for doing so. (I guess that's because it was a closed beta...) How can I still get rid of the software?

You can basically only advanced hide it. The game and license is forever linked to your account with no way to remove it.

See if that works for you.

There is nothing on this site other than a link to the store page, which doesn't exist.

Many other games offer a feature to remove them permanently form your library.

No games offer that feature and they couldn't if they wanted to, its in Steam's control, not the game. Steam's "removing" of a game doesn't actually remove it. It just hides it from your library and the license remains linked forever in case you change your mind.

assuming above appid is correct, use this link here:

https://help.steampowered.com/en/wizard/HelpWithGame/?appid=854040&issueid=123

Sadly, this links to an empty support page. :/

Meh

Just do what others have said, hide it and you will never see it unless you specifically go looking at your hidden games
