Steam drops

I have two games which are eligible for card drops and have played around 25 hours on one and 37 on the other and still have not got a single card drop

do they have drops left, they shouldn't.

I think it may be because it took a week for my account to get unlimited, in which time I had already spent most of my hours on them

Yes but only for around an hour each

You may just need to play more, I have no idea how the system handles game time before you were eligible for drops.

But check your badges page, if it says you have drops remaining I would play the games some more and see what happens.
