How does one update their AMD Drivers
I'm simply going about my day attempting to update my AMD drivers using their wonderful "Driver Installer" tool (which does not work) so I am at a complete loss as to how to update my drivers. I looked up some beta drivers and installed AMD Catalyst™ Display Driver version 15.201.1151.1010. After this I found that I am getting less frames in games like Just Cause 3 and Fallout 4. Any help is welcome.

What OS are you using?
You can always download the current drivers (not with their tool), uninstall your existing drivers, and then install the newer ones.
Windows 7, and AMD provides no way I know of to install their drivers without using their tool

click 'Find your drivers'

under 'Manually select your drivers' select

Desktop Graphics
HD series
Radeon 7800 series
then select your operating system.
I know. The drivers I have downloaded won't install due to the broken installer
delete the old file you downloaded and then redownload.

why do you assume the installer that thousands of people use every day is broken?
If you are getting a crash try running the Installer with Admin Privileges. Have you tried downloading & installing the AMD Minimal Setup which is a smaller download by comparison & I believe leaves out the Catalyst setup so basically just the graphics driver itself. Also this should be a non beta version & this is what it says in the description below the two orange download buttons at the website.

Description:
A Web-based installer that automatically downloads and installs the minimum required AMD driver components for your system. An Internet connection is required.

Ckick the Supported Products tab... Driver works for AMD Radeon™ HD 7700+ Series cards.
I am assuming you are running Windows 7 64 Bit it & on a desktop?

Reboot your PC after you uninstall the old drivers & wait a few minutes before installing the new drivers just to make sure all Windows components & software are loaded.
Hope this helps... Cheers! :zgsanta:

I have tried both of the driver downloads, including the minimal setup. Both use an installer that is not the Catalyst installer. The beta drivers I installed however did use the Catalyst installer, and they installed correctly. Also I had tried running the installer as an Admin. It crashed again.
:ccskull: just get a new video card? xD
