virus? SMG.Heur!cg1... HELP

I have built a new PC. I installed my steam and some games and I ran a norton check and it says theres a virus called SMG.Heur!cg1... Does anyone know what this is?

I havent clicked on any weird links on my steam messenger

its showing up in my steam bin

steam\bin\00024469.tmp

and

steam\bin\00028688.tmp

Funny thing is I didnt notice this until after this whole fiasco of todays steam problem, or maybe its been there I dont know.

Norton is owned by Symantec, and Symantec says:

If one or more files on your computer have been classified as having a SMG.Heur!cg1 threat, this indicates that the files have suspicious characteristics and therefore might contain a new or unknown threat. However, given the sensitive nature of this detection technology, it may occasionally identify non-malicious, legitimate software programs that also share these behavioral characteristics. Therefore, it is recommended that users manually check all files detected as SMG.Heur!cg1 by Symantec antivirus products for potential misidentification, and submit any suspect files to Symantec Security Response for further analysis.

Given that those files were created in Steam's directory, I'd say that the files are non-malicious, and so they're of no threat to you.

Yes I saw that but it says "it may" I tried running every game to see if it will pop up again but I cannot replicate the results to make it appear again.

My Norton Antivirus has detected the same thing. It says 'low risk' and it was found in my Spotify files rather than Steam.. but I'm assuming it's safe. I can't find much about it online. Hope that helps.
