REMOVE THE BLUR
So I get home after work, and get around to booting up steam, only to find that a good chunk of my favorite art is blurry on my image wall, how do I fix it?

Likely server issues. As it's Tuesday night (maintenance night) this is likely the issue.

So wait.

The blur is the content preferences that were updated and turned on when Valve did Tuesday maintenance. Silent update. Check if yours were turned on (unchecked) again or not...

That's what I figured, my boxes are still checked, there shouldn't be any filtering of mature content. The store still has all the trashy games that started appearing after I bought cyberpunk 2077, but my tasteful wall of favorite art has been destroyed, seems like that silent update screwed some stuff up.

Nope, I've tried the setting, restarting, even reinstalling, nothing has worked.

Try both messing with the Monitor settings, then try the pc settings. Not many people know, but the monitor settings can be different than your pc settings and cause issues too. I noticed this when i fooled around with HDR on my monitor. Try only setting your monitor settings. If it is a gaming one, like mine, it should have a menu. Look at your instruction manual or the monitor's developer for instructions on how to set it up.
