Getting banned for having Custom Desktop Logo

Hello guys, I wanted to make like a custom window frame and add different stuff for my games, and I found Custom Desktop Logo. The problem is that I found out that this might get me VAC banned, which I don't want.

So, can I use it without risking getting banned, or what other program can I use?

well it allows you to use a crosshair in games that don't have one giving you a edge over other players so id advise that you don't use it

I only wanted a simple "Yes you will get banned" or a "No you won't"... You guys just replied but none are relevant xD I mean, thanks for at least replying but it doesn't really help.

I am not planning to use it as a crosshair, I don't even play FPS games often, and the ones I play already have crosshairs. I just want to make filters and fancy edges of the screen with that...

If it's not in the game config/settings and your attempting to inject/overlay it into that game while running online, then yes it will get your VAC banned.

"Yes you will get banned" - Most likely, but I haven't seen the program code to understand what it's doing and how. Overlays such as FPS counters won't affect it.

It doesn't matter what it does or what you will use it for. If it alters the files or code, it will get you VAC banned.

You sound like everyone else in the VAC ban forum that has no clue what they are doing then end up there.

My opinion? What you are suggesting ain't worth it.

i see absolutely no reason why to use an 8+ year old crappy program to make "fancy edges" that you can look at yourself.

Most of you guys don't even understand what the program I want to use, actually is. It doesn't change anything to the game, it doesn't even have anything to do with the game files or process. It just adds a layer to the whole screen (doesn't matter if I have a game open or if I'm just looking at my desktop) and adds the picture I want.

And no, I don't stream. I am borred and want to do something cool :P
