I am not planning to use it as a crosshair, I don't even play FPS games often, and the ones I play already have crosshairs. I just want to make filters and fancy edges of the screen with that...
"Yes you will get banned" - Most likely, but I haven't seen the program code to understand what it's doing and how. Overlays such as FPS counters won't affect it.
You sound like everyone else in the VAC ban forum that has no clue what they are doing then end up there.
My opinion? What you are suggesting ain't worth it.
i see absolutely no reason why to use an 8+ year old crappy program to make "fancy edges" that you can look at yourself.
