About having SPORE and buying Spore
so i have spore from the disk but i want it on steam so i can get dlc. is there anyway to have spore on my computer already downloaded and just activate it on steam? i also want to do this with battlefront 2. any ideas?

Retail copies of Spore use SecuRom, and cannot be activated on Steam. As for Battlefront 2, if it came with a CD-key you can attempt to register it by opening the Steam client and clicking "Games" > "Activate a Product on Steam". Not all CD-keys work with Steam.

seems none of them will work on steam. but they might work on origin, since those are EA games. spore, single offline player only anyway, they shut down the server a while ago.
