Because Valve used to do this on reuquest, but the problem is law.
Many people would contact them like yourself, and ask for games to be removed. Guess what often happened? They'd change their mind at some point and want them back.
And Valve obviously legally, had to reinstate the games. Which meant out of their own pocket they'd have to pay for a key to put back on their account and take time with this.
Which is ridiculous.
So they optedf to make it so you can hide games and that's it. You see?
However deleting a game affects the simple statistics of the overall number of games I own on my profile and for me is enough here,
I just wondering how is it possible that this doesnt happen for the achievement trackers?
I mean why I can see effects on statistics (only that I dont ask for deleting history) in steam and not in websites that use steam API?
Which game are you talking about?
You ACHIEVED them then.
So whether you choose to sell a game in the physical realm you still have your achievements right?
Same applies here.
ok I understand. In fact I am just referring to the number of games. Achievements can be there. And I didnt delete games where I unlocked achievements
