Steam Points Stolen

My steam points was stolen and i've got a mail " I’ve given an award to a screenshot"

Steamguard is ON. I dont see any foreign device login

Still, if someone could send awards from your account, then they have logged to it.

Do the following to secure your account:

1. Scan for malware https://www.malwarebytes.com/
2. Deauthorize all other devices https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
3. Change passwords from a trusted/clean computer.
4. Generate new backup codes for your Mobile App https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
5. Revoke the API key https://steamcommunity.com/dev/apikey (there should be nothing in the APIKEY)
6. Change password on your email account.Enable 2FA if you don't already have it activated.


Report the account that owns that screenshot, from their profile (click the three dots at the top right of the profile)

If your points were stolen, were you using any browser plugin or other 3rd party tool that might have had access to Steam?

No one "hacking" Steam servers. You just gave your login credentials on phishing webpage.

it was for sure 34 mil when i wrote my comment. likely just the refunds initiated from victim accounts to get points back.

no. secure your account and stop giving away your log in

do the ENTIRE list, changing passwords is not the entire list

after looking at your groups, it clearly didnt happen from a totally secured account. all 3rd party sites are USE AT OWN RISK, does not matter how "legit" people claim a site is
