If it's not in your library, restarting Steam might fix it.
If it's about the desktop icon, there is a checkbox on the install dialog to control if you want the icon or not.
Make sure you aren't hiding desktop icons.
there you open default apps per filetype.
look for .URL
and you select "Internet Browser" as the application to open these, not any specific browser.
in most cases that should make the icons reappear.
I'll repeat the steps and you should be able to fix it.
press windows key and search for default apps.
you'll see some stuff like email photo and webbrowser, scroll past that and click the option called "Choose default application by file type".
this will open a screen which will need to load for a bit. once it's loaded scroll all the way down to .URL and select 'Internet Browser' (you need to reselect if even though it's already selected).
hope this helps, cause I have the same problem but this simple fix doesn't help me :1
not sure if this is system resource issue, i bet it will fix it self then he reboot pc, so windows catch the change, Not sure what cause this,
you might check with Dism rep and SFC ( google this. ) and yet, i cant say if it will fix it.
