i cannot seem to find PHYSICAL steam cards in any stores near me..
Did they discontinue steam cards or something? Every store i go to, there is none on the shelves and empty spots where there supposed to be. I have gone to walmart, target, best buy, cvs..etc. None of these stores carry steam cards at all now. I know another way to buy steam games, but i prefer to use steam cards. Anyone know what is happening with them?

NOTE: I believe they still sell them at gamestop stores..

Next time you're in Walmart go to the PC/video game section. The Walmart here moved them from the gift card section to that section.

This is where I usually buy them. Sold out for two weeks now. The empty slots are still there but no cards. Same at Target and Best Buy. No cards. Live in central US in a large population area.

Stll available literally everywhere here in Germany.
I can go to any random supermarket and they can print me a Steam Card with a code at the checkout if i ask for one.
What indeed has nearly disappeared here is the physical cards that have the field to scratch free.
But you get the print version in nearly every supermarket, gas station or lottery store.

Ah yea, that might be why the "physical" versions of the cards are gone. Maybe there all digital now..and they have not told anyone at those stores, customers i mean.

Yeah a lot of the stores here, especially the smaller ones have switched to digital only with a printout for all the different gift cards, be it Steam, Amazon, Paysafe , Netflix and so on.
You can still find the physical cards in some stores but only the big ones.

Stopped for gas at a Speedway the other day and saw plenty of $30 cards on the rack by the door.

I'm having the same problem as OP (European). Nowhere to be found. I want to give them to a friend as a birthday gift.

Just to confirm, buying a paysafecard still works with Steam, right?

They are still sold in grocery stores like Kaufland in Germany.

You can also purchase a digital card directly from Steam.

They're still accepted in Germany, so I assume, that goes for Slovenia too. If you want to be sure, check the available payment methods under the option to charge your account.

I would guess, the issue here would be the same as mine (though I can still get Steam cards in stores here luckily): Steam does not accept cash, which is still my primary payment method.

I cant find any physical steam gift cards either anymore, I don't see the point of a digital gift card cuz by that point I would rather use credit. I asked some Gamestop employee and he told me they only sell $100 cards but I dunno if he just told that to get rid of me or what. Lmao :ScoutSheep:
