Unlinking steam from rockstar social club

so i've been dealing with r* slow customer support and just wanted to clarify something i noticed on their page
:"All entitlements are tied to the Social Club account that is used to first sign into the game and cannot be moved from one account to another. "
this just means i wont keep charcter progress right, i can link to my other social just fine and start a new character? like im not losing access to the game (rdr2) am I?

No. The game is permanently linked to that particular Rockstar Social Club account. You can not get a free copy of the game by linking your Steam account to a new Rockstar Social Club account.

im not trying to get a free game, i own it on steam, im just trying to figure out if i change the social club account linked to steam will it screw me out of being able to play it

You will not be able to play the game unless you are logged into the account the game initially was activated/linked on.

You will not get a free copy of the game on another Rockstar Social Club to evade bans.

1. im not trying to get a free game i just said that
2. im not banned, not trying to avoid a ban etc.
3. i have 2 socials one was from way back in the ps3 days the other is the one i use now , i linked the wrong one to my steam on boot up of the game, if i unlink the old one and link the new one can I or can I not play the game or does unlinking it basically mean i have a useless game in my library

i tried asking rockstar that why the post says dealing with their slow support, thats why i came here for hoping someone could anwser the question

But the request takes a lot of time with me, they sent my unlinking request to the qualified department on February 26th ...

Then you can log in with another rockstar account but you will need a new license.
