if you never receive it after you download and install the game and enter the game
you can contact the Game Developers support there about it.
^_^
As Steam does not sell product keys, you will have to take it up with the shop where you bought it.
Only that at that point of time it will no longer be possible to get the bonus.
Get your money back and buy from an authorized reseller.
https://www.ign.com/articles/hogwarts-legacy-release-date-preorder-guide
because different vendors have different pre-order bonuses.
the game also has mtx .. single player.
anyway...
1) do not pre-order
2) do not buy on release day
3) wait for reviewers
4) wait for patches
5) wait for discounts
by following these easy steps, you make the video game industry more safe for consumers, thx
depends on what game.
Digimon Survive which i bought for nintendo switch to play as "pre-order" comes out completely fine.
even the bonus arrive safely too but it requires a few in-game process just to get it and someone wrote a guide for it too.
-----------------------------------------------------------
as for waiting for "discounts", there isn't a need to if you are 1000000% interested in getting the game regardless of the price.
------------------------------------------------------
my advice is this
1) if you want the game so badly and don't care about the "bonus content that comes from pre-order", then get the game regardless of price
i'm very sure there are plenty of people who pre-order Hogwarts Legacy just to play the game and they don't care about the "bonus content" at all.
the same is true when there is expansion pack for World of Warcraft as pre-order too.
up to peoples' choice to choose what type of version of the game they want to get.
