can't find CD key

title says it. i can't find the CD key i need to unbind RDR2 from a fake rockstar account to my real one but unfortunately i can not for the life of me find the cd key. it's just not where online and steam says it should be. is there any other way to find the cd key?

the game has no extra cdkey system on Steam and the verification is directly done with the rockstar launcher and social club account.
it also can't be a fake account, because the thing had to actually exist to link it.

contacting rockstar support is your only choice.

Each product code can only be used once.
It is now permanently bound to a Rockstar Social account, which is definitely not fake.

Ok not fake fake but it's not my rock star account. It doesn't even have my email (only email I've ever used) attached to the RS acc. It's some one else's email. I have contacted rock star support and they say I need to provide them with some information in order to clear this up. The only thing I can not find is the games cd key.

You need to find the CD key on the site you bought it from.

Steam hasn’t provided CD keys for years, so Rockstar Support is looking for the key that’s most likely still available on that account from say Humble, Fanatical.

Go through your email receipts and see if you can find which site it was.

Who else has had access to your account? Did you buy this account and are finding out there's some cons to that sort of thing?

You're gonna have to accept the circumstances you're claiming are very curious and people are gonna be curious. I mean I am. I'm not judging or anything, but if I had a dollar for every time my accounts or games in the last twenty years got hooked up to random accounts I'd be broke as hell.

This is my steam account. I made it. I guess my brother might know something since when we were kids we shared the account for a few years. But if steam doesn't have any kind of identification key wouldn't rockstar know that? Uhg I'm getting the vibe that there are no keys any more this making this discussion pointless. And this I'll need a refund on the game.
