They could fake a Steam login and use your credentials to gain access to your account.

You login via Steam API which allows 3rd party websites to have public access information such as profile name, picture, etc not your private information such as Steam name, password or access to your Steam authenticator, etc.

So you should be relatively safe however nothing is 100% safe everything has its risks the question is are you willing to take them.
