I want to play half life with my mouse and keyboard?

Tell yer, I have just bought the half life 1 game and can't play it properly. Got no chance of playing using a laptop. Trying to get any sense from steam or who ever is impossible, a game I loved to play in the 90's with loads of great memories. Wake UP STEAM, I WANT TO PLAY, BLIMEY.

Is there some kind of issue with your keyboard or something? Are you able to play any other games with your laptop?

Meaning with a laptop it is very diffivult.

In the settings for mouse are very basic. Using the 3 buttons and wheel are a must, At the moment and can only use the laser/mouse/ball to look around. Thanks for talking to me.

Are you trying to use the built in touch pad on the laptop? Can you plug in a regular usb mouse and will it owrk properly that way?

why is mine not booting up not even the 2 expantions and half life before why is it doing this not even at all it ever loads
